BAD NEWS for Coleman - GO FRANKEN!
The Minnesota election court has just handed down a very important ruling that will determine the entire course of the rest of this trial -- and it's very bad news for Norm Coleman, cutting off multiple avenues he was pursuing in order to get more votes for himself thrown into the count.

Yesterday the court heard arguments regarding the campaigns' positions on 19 categories of rejected absentee ballot envelopes, and whether the voters should be cut sufficient slack as to allow the ballot in. The court has now handed down a ruling on 13 of those categories -- and it's an emphatic No.

1. It seems like they're handing out goodies, one at a time to one side and the other in hopes
the world will end before they have to actually decide something.
:silly:

5. It's about time. They've been jerking the electorate around
long enough. It's time for Al to get seated and get to work.

6. I'm 100% behind Franken but...
Is it me or more and more elections are lost or won by judges rulings ? I

find that pretty disturbing.

7. no, the judges ruled because that is the way the law is written
that is the whole point. Coleman wanted to include 13 types of ballots that are expressly forbidden by law.

13. It's dreadful having only one Senator, knowing that we are without
the much needed additional vote.

Bu the by, I just listened to Assassin the other night. Margaret is one of my faves. :hi:
