Do these A**holes go to night school to learn this sh**?
Edited on Fri Feb-13-09 07:58 PM by IDemo
Every single rethug, whether politician or radio/tv host, when appearing on a talk show as a spokesperson or "expert", every single time, displays such a clearly blueprinted set of behaviors that I don't know how else to explain why they always:

-- Sneer as if they've just gotten away with farting in the elevator.

-- Interrupt the host or the Democratic guests incessantly, ignoring their pleas to allow them to finish.

-- Demand that they be allowed to finish their spiel without interruption.

-- Invent facts and distort history as if no possible way exists to disprove their BS.

-- Laugh after their BS has been thoroughly shot down by the host and other guests, as if the topic in question remains unsettled.

This comes after watching Lars Larson (a Rushican name if ever there was) on Tweety's show.

3. Yes, actually, they do =-
I read an article about it some time back- it's associated with some think tank or another in DC - they learn all those things you listed - I believe the Heritage Foundation or the PNAC.

They all train the same way, with videotape training sessions, learn to shriek talking points supplied by the powers that be -

It's why you heard the mouse lie for the last couple of days stated the same way, with the same hysterical inflection.

9. The brouhaha about 300 million for tidal mouse(??) study or preservation
not actually in the bill, but referred to by a possible fund recipient out in San Fran.....

The idiots on the R side of the isle used it as an illustration of the waste in the bill when the mouse money didn't exist -

there's an OP around here someplace concering it in more detail....

Throw enough shit up in the air is the most efficient possible way to drown out people with plans and ideas.

I think the plan there is to spout the repub talking points while appearing to be rational. They are starting to make Fox News look honest (in the way that an armed robber is an honest criminal).

10. I've always wondered where the networks get their "experts" from.
Do they grow on trees? Do they get them at the idiot farm? What?

I've found the conservative brainwashing operation of the GOP...

Mission
The Leadership Institute's mission is to identify, recruit, train, and place conservatives in politics, government, and the media.

{snip}

The Leadership Institute's Youth Leadership School is an intense, two-day school for students who want to learn how to lead fellow youth activists, build effective student organizations, get out the vote for your candidate or cause, and use the media to get your message out.

If you are a TEENPACT student, you get free admission, including:

Course materials

Meals for the duration of the training

Hotel costs for out-of-town students

Optional student-organized Sunday prayer service

This Youth Leadership School is at Belmont University in Nashville, February 21-22. I am attaching a PDF with more information. Feel free to contact me with any questions!
