He's all into the stimulus package, says making trains and building roads will create jobs. Also thought Gregg withdrawing from the Commerce job is "very odd."

1. One can be a republican and think both those things.

Maybe he's ex-batshit crazy. I don't know much about him so I don't know if he was or not.

3. lahood was/moderate republican from peoria il
that part of illinois is to say the least strange. my local state rep is a republican in name only and you`ll see a lot of union sticker ed trucks with his sticker. la hood`s district is right next to my reps. he`s pretty much done as he`s pleased in his district for years and that`s why the democrats have`t been able to defeat him. he`s been on the transportation committees and pals with caterpillar. there`s some speculation that he might run for senate in 2010 but i`m not sure if the conservative republicans in illinois trust him. i think he`ll do a good job for the country

2. his talking points got lost on the way to his intervew
and he made the mistake of speaking the truth.

the GOP aint gonna like that.

He also said Gregg had asked for the job repeatedly, which makes Gregg's earlier statements that he didn't ask for the job suspect at best.

Hey, brownie points to any puke who gets on TV and doesn't histrionically scream and lie and accuse and threaten. Perhaps we're witnessing a gopper evolution of sorts. If they make it out alive, they morph into humans with dignity?
