I don't know what it is but the homebuilders were upset about something the other day. They were saying "The bill interfers with our business to much".. that could only mean two things. Buy American or no illegal labor. It's probably in the fine print somewhere.

this morning's Washington Journal...The first guest is this Wall St. Reporter, and she's doing a complete HIT PIECE on the Stimulus Bill. It's unbelievable what these people will stoop to. For instance, she's highlighted the fact that the average taxpayer will get much less "than Obama promised" -=- which OF COURSE was something the Repugs insisted on...C-Span is about as "objective" as CNN...It's getting more and more obvious.

there is socialized medicine. That would be a much bigger boom to business than a tax cut. It would help the family businesses that used to be the backbone of our economy and the large corporations as well. Imagine not having to pay or and administer workers health plans.

A bunch of the wingnut claptraps keep banging this mantra that "government doesn't create jobs". The hate radio world has been harping almost non-stop about this country going "socialist" since it looked likely that President Obama would win. Yep, it really frosts their frozen asses that they and their ilk won't get the government money...not to Blackwater (or whatever name they are this week), not to Exxon or General Electric, but to the states and local governments who can and do create a large number of jobs and desperately need some federal government love.

Damn right they're "skeered"..they're finally realizing they have ZERO power except for their bloviating and fear mongering...and those stunts look more desperate every day.
