So says a commenter from my local paper. Mind you, this is the same guy who rants and raves about global warming being a myth, and always fails to disclose that he is employed by a known polluter.

" to K.E. Stop praying and cheerleading and start thinking. Our children, which you Dems care soooo much about, will, in the next two year, inherit more debt than you-know-who left behind for the Messiah. Worse yet, our Government and entitlement programs will have grown even more. They were unsustainable before the Great One. They will be calamitous now.

I'm hoping & praying you don't screw it up irreversibly with your grandiose and foolish ideas about Big Government. I'm writing and calling my Senators too, especially that two-faced coward Specter.

You got your guy. Congratulations. You got your Senate and Congress. Congratulations. Now shut up and get to work. We can't possibly moan and groan as much as you babies did for the last eight year. And unlike you, WE will respect the office of this President. "

The letter that prompted this, and some other idiotic comments are here:

1. It's way easier for them to do than it was for us
They can easily respect Obama without agreeing with him. *, however, was not worthy of respect even from those he agreed with.

2. They're all ready whining and crying. It's gonna be a long eight years for these selfish babies.
 Sad thing is that these morans will benefit from President Obama and the Democratic Congress' actions, much like we got royally screwed by bu$h and the repugs.

3. The ENTIRE world will Respect this President
Even the most adamant Freeper knows they can't say the same about their guy. Bush* was probably the least respected person ever to hold that office. It is true that a good portion of America had problems with Clinton but the rest of the world adored him. Can't say that about Bush*.

8. "Even the most adamant Freeper..." I KNOW! I mean, now they're "independents"

and saying things like "I never agreed with Bush" or "Bush is a democrat and not conservative enough" and BS like that. They're too EMBARRASSED to do that "FOUR MORE YEARS!" chant because they damn well know they've ruined this country and have blood on their hands from Bush/Cheney&Co's illegal war.

Such a bunch of spineless, whining, sorry excuses for human-beings these di*$%!ts are, I swear! end of

6. They're just mad because they're a dying breed in this area.
This year is the first time a Democratic presidential candidate won this county (Chester County, near Philadelphia) since 1964.

7. You know, it strikes me that history is going backwards here
Edited on Sat Feb-14-09 02:43 PM by lunatica
We were pretty trusting of Bush's Administration even if we weren't happy about it. In time we learned to pay more attention and realized the disastrous 'Catasrophic success' of Bush's war on the American people and the Constitution. We realized belatedly that our lives were being deliberately ruined by the Bush administration.

Now the exact opposite is happening. They viscerally detest President Obama, accusing him of everything under the Sun that is evil (in their eyes). With time they will learn that their lives have improved because of President Obama and that it's been deliberate action on his part.

funny that...
