In fact, if we hat true high-speed rail, it would be faster for a lot of trips where people now fly, especially if you figure in the time you spend dealing with customs, etc.

NY to CA in maybe 15 hours in comfort on high-speed rail? A no-brainer, if ya ask me. Ad boy would it save on fossil fuels.
