George W. Bush is Fundraising Personally for His Library
"Don't say that former President Bush hasn't been hit by the crumbling economy he handed off to President Obama. Friends tell us that it has slowed the drive to raise some $500 million to build and endow the George W. Bush Presidential Center at Dallas's Southern Methodist University. "It's a bad environment," says one. Bush is taking no chances: He's making donor calls himself, and even his dad, the 41st president, is helping out, as are former aides like Karl Rove. In the future, say associates, look for Bush to host fundraising events in order to meet a goal of completing construction in 2013. But for now, "he's laying low," says one."

2. He should relocate his library
He could probably buy a storefront in a strip mall, at a pretty good price. I mean, how much room does he need for My Pet Goat and his coloring book collection.

6. Put it in the new US embassy in Iraq
You know, the embassy that's bigger than Vatican City. It'll be mostly empty but it would be a nice way to commemorate all the offshoring done during his administration.

7. $500 Million?
Hah!!

Good Luck, Chimpy. Almost 3/4 of the country hates your guts. Maybe we would all chip in if your "library" gets bars put over the windows and razor wire with walls and guard towers surrounding it for you, your family, and your felonious criminal administration.

Might as well build it in Paraguay, you would get about as many visitors there.

I'm sure they would be happy to comply.

10. The Counter-Bush Library would get more donations than Shrub's
I remember when President Clinton left office, some freepers were going to build a really grandiose monument to all his malfeasance. It didn't go anywhere, in no small part because the Counter-Clinton Library was scheduled to cost more than the official Clinton Presidential Library.

I figure that if we get an old convenience store, put a cut-out of Shrub standing behind the register (to demonstrate the kind of job the man is capable of doing well, if he didn't get fired for violating the store's antidrug policies), and stick fifteen or sixteen computers leashed to a server to hold the evidence of Dipshit's criminality, we could put together a really good Counter-Bush Library for about $45,000. You'd have building maintenance, utilities and taxes, plus the salaries of a couple people who surfed the web looking for dirt on Fearless Leader, but those wouldn't come to very much.

11. It would be a fitting tribute if it never gets built.
And fuck he father, too. And that old battle axe woman he's married to.

And that Lump In The Bed.

And every damned one of his relatives.

Fuck them all.

13. maybe he could do a comedy tour,
possibly looking in his desk and under the furniture for WMDs in Iraq, that ought to get a big laugh and a couple of bucks. I wish there was a "fuck him" emoticon available.
