Poll question: Which component of the military commands more of YOUR respect
The Active Duty Component (To include USAF, USCG, USN, USMC, and USA)
The Reserve Component (To include USNR, USAR, ANG, ARNG, etc.)

I know this is an obscure question, but I was wondering which component of the military commands more of your personal respect: those who serve 24-7 or those who serve one weekend a month, 2 weeks a year.

Or, is this just really a stupid question?

1. None of the above. 4 years in the marine crotch dispelled any respect of the military.

2. People get respect, not government bureaucracies.
Like everywhere else, there are respectable people in the military and there are assholes there too.
