The greatest thing we could do for Elizabeth is help secure her husband into the presidency where he could begin the healing and start the process of putting back together our country and the world. John has incredible Intelligence, heart, experience, honesty, Intelligence (needs to be stressed I think - the asshole in the WH now has little of that). It isn't going to be easy but I feel John Edwards is the man to do it. I'm sorry Katie, John isn't going to fall apart when Elizabeth dies.

3. why wasn't he intelligent enough to voice strong warnings

and dissent wrt invading Iraq? Did he just not have enough heart? Was he not experienced enough to know better? Or is he so lacking in honesty that his ambition to be president made him think it would be a good idea to present himself to America as "tough on terror" (as "tough" and "terror" were defined by GW Bush and company)?
