If you needed any indication that we love this fund drive above all others, just look! We're gonna hit your total before you were even planning to start the drive.

I have a recommendation. How about you do an optional fund drive in March? By optional, I mean that we aren't forced to go through the donation portal to get to our favorite stuff but you still have a bar on top and instead of hearts, have shamrocks. Let everyone know that this is extra just for fun, no pressure to donate but if you do......... If you, Skinner, wrote one of your amazing diplomatic letters to that effect and pinned it and even blamed it on that silly tavalon with her wild ideas, well, people would actually love it, three people would complain vociferously and you and your wife might be able to contemplate baby number three! Just kidding on that last point.

just light Christmas coincides with a winter one. Sorry, I'm not up on my history about this. But Easter eggs, bunnies, chickies, and duckies shouldn't bother anyone. Or call it a DU spring fling. Fling...DU.... hm.... we could fling "stuff" at suitable targets: Rush, Cornyn, McConnell, Boner, O'Really. We could also give Easter eggs or whatevers to our DU friends.

For St. Pat's we could down Guinesses and give out shamrocks. And down Guinesses.

10. That's supposed to be a secret

At least that's how the Christians wanted it to be many a season ago and now, it's almost forgotten except for the newly revived Pagans. I'm not, in general, a Christian basher - I used to be one and if you can get past the hypocrisy inherent in much of the dogma, the people are sweet and community minded (if you follow the community rules, that is). But, I will admit to a certain pleasure in asking Christians what eggs and bunnies have to do with the savior getting nailed to a cross? Needless to say, I usually get blank, slightly worried stares. The answer, as I suspect you know, is that Easter or Ostara is a stolen fertility holiday and what are better signs of fertility than bunnies and eggs!?
