21. Let him speak. It merely confirms the wisdom of electing Obama instead of him.
He gave the Democrats the best gift the GOP could give since George W. Bush: Sarah Palin.

He's become nothing more than a punch line. Every time Palin opens HER mouth it reminds folks of McCain's lousy judgment.

13. Instead of giving McCain any credibility, CNN should just hilight...
their OWN poll:

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/02/13/poll-trouble-signs-for-obama-picks-over-cabinet/

Obama is:

*providing strong leadership for the country -- 80%

*handling foreign policy -- 76%

*dealing with the economy -- 72%

*handling policies on terrorism -- 68%

*choosing his Cabinet -- 61%

*overall approval rating -- 76%

I think that answers their own question.

of the US know they made the right choice by choosing a young, energetic, non-wavering, decisive, intelligent man over McCain who never seemed to know which way to go and all he can do is bitch about everything.

Hey, give it up John, you lost big time.

23. I'd say he's off to a GREAT start
He got a major economic plan passed in less than a single month since he was inaugurated- with at least 3 Republicans voting for the plan as well (a singularly amazing feat given the otherwise solid block of GOP opposition and obstructionism. He even outdoes Clinton who didn't get a SINGLE GOP vote for his economic package). I'd call that pretty DAMNED successful!!!! GOBAMA!!!!

53. Oh I see
Well, I'd like to think that there's plenty of room among progressives/liberals to SUPPORT Obama as well as criticize him. I think that for some people NOBODY would be a "perfect" POTUS. Heck, I even read that FDR was not even a flaming progressive when he first took office. Naturally, nobody is going to agree with everything Obama (or anybody else) does but he's certainly no GWB, Cheney, McCain, et. al. Al Gore and John Kerry no doubt wouldn't have been flaming progressives either but I doubt that anybody here would argue (with a straight face) that either of them wouldn't have been better than GWB during the past 8 years. Frankly, I think both of them were robbed (well, mugged might be a better term to use) Maybe we're all so used to fighting against GWB that we haven't quite fully realized that Obama is POTUS and McCain is NOT. Some people are probably no doubt upset that Obama hasn't done EVERYTHING that they might have wanted him to do yet too but, frankly, I don't think we could've had anybody better for POTUS at this point in time and I have little doubt that he has a sincere desire to try to make things better for the rest of us. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming! ;-)

31. What happened to "Country First" John
doing nothing is better than this bill ? I don't think so. How quickly he forgot "Country First" Something I have not heard anyone say yet is what if Obama like Clinton can turn this debt into a surplus. Than the republican talking points of our grand children's grand children won't hold up. Now I know that seems like alot to ask but it's possible-right? The repukes points right now are the deficit, the deficit for the children well it can be turned into a surplus if the man behind the curtain is a genius and I think he might just be.

28. Hey John
When the people of the United States want to hear what you have to say the will elect you!!!! Since he lost, and decisively, he should at least be aware enough to keep a low profile for awhile. Work behind the scenes maybe but he really needs to realize the people weren't interested in what he had to say during the campaign and they sure as hell don't care what he has to say now.
