Here's a reminder of who might be running America right now:

One looks dignified.

One looks like a toddler who didn't get his candy cane but is just shrewd enough not to stomp on the floor, wave his fists in the air, and scream.

Indeed, what if the roles were reversed and Obama had lost. Would he be making snide comments about McCain's first 21+ days?

1. Interesting question.
I wonder what we would be talking about if President McCain was in charge? I bet all the Republicans would have voted for a stimulus package even bigger than the one just passed?

6. Well, if nothing else we'd be fighting repukes' empty gloating.

And not just a bigger package, one that would continue to be a record swindle.

8. And a bill with even more tax cuts! And not for the middle class.
The other night, Larry King asked Bill Maher how he thought the new president was doing & Maher replied, "Better than the alternative!"

I honestly believe that if McCain were president, he would have dropped a nuke in his term. And if that wacko Palin was prez, I can't even imagine what might happen.

14. You might be talking about the suicide of southerncrone.
I simply could not bear having Palin in charge of anything that affected my world.

3. his solution to financial crisis
would have been tax cuts, less oversight, more jails, martial law, destroying the UN, drilling in nature preserves and war with Iran, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan ...

Whenever I wonder what Obama is doing I remember this.

9. McCain's stim pkg would have included building Hoovervilles.
And soup kitchens, and bread lines. We'd be in deep shit.

10. I'll never understand what kind of look
gramps was going for with that thrusting creepy tounge thing. Still gives me the willies. The pukes have gotten their chorus sheets that they will sing from for the coming week. They will repeat ad nauseum and stick to the script until a new one comes out next week or there is an emergency modification in case some dem congress critter gets caught jaywalking.

11. The Daily Show would have a lot more material to work with.

That show's humor has taken a huge beating since someone competent has taken over.

13. Not having McCain in charge is reassuring
I know that his response to the economic crisis would be to have more tax cuts for the richest. He would probably increase greatly military spending. He might even go to his gated scripted town halls and declare that the fundamentals of the economy are strong. Those are just a few things.
