Is Obama delegating too much authority to Defense and Treasury Depts?
I have a hunch that he is letting the little General at Centcom and Defense Secretary Gates call all the shots in regards to Iraq and Afghanistan and Pakistan. I think it is they that have decided the best policy is to continue bombing Pakistan. Since Petraeus is now in charge of Centcom, I would think most of these decisions have been delegated to him and Gates agrees?

And the same at the Treasury Dept. He seems to have delegated everything to the insider, Geithner, to make the decisions about the bank bailouts, etc. I wish it weren't so, but that is what it looks like from this angle? But, in fairness to the President, he has been very busy attempting to get the stimulus package passed. Perhaps he will focus more on the bank bailout and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan since that has passed? Not that he doesn't have a full plate...
