OK, now you're scaring me..............
All these hearts.

Anonymous.

This could be interpreted as affection. Maybe some small "like."

That's lovely.

It could also be an Introduction To Stalking.

If you're going to stalk Tangerine, will you please bring beer?

Thank you for all the very surprising and very wonderful

And, if you're wondering, Tangerine favors

1. When I was drinking...
I had a collection of 4 "Slim Jim" one liter mugs that I kept in the freezer. 2 Yuenglings fit perfectly in one of those frozen mugs. MMmm...mmm. Good drinkin'.

5. It's the oldest brewery in America,
and I grew up just a few miles from Pottsville, PA (home of John O'Hara, too). We used to hitchhike there and take tours of the brewery to get free beers - they served everyone back then - at the end of the tour.

The water in that part of Pennsylvania makes for a really good brew. It's very nice stuff, but it's been funny to watch it become a national vogue. Sort of like your mother becoming a movie star. Really weird.

Judging from my family, there sure is something in the water!

17. A fellow coalcracker!
Hello, hello, and, yes, they're all nuts. All of them. There is no place like it in the world.

No one believes my stories about growing up there, so I quit telling them to anyone who isn't from "The Region."

Nice to know you understand............................

2. Well, it makes more sense that you get them than me. I find it very perplexing (and expensive) ...
... that there are folks who'd give an old, fat, irascible, nutty, pugnacious, sloppy, argumentative, unshaven, sandal-footed fart like me so many hearts. I sure thought DUers had far better taste -- at least the ones without tombstones. Hell --- there are some really AWESOME BABES here!! If they think they can drive me nuts -- well, it's too late by a long shot. (I'm going even broker having to "pay it forward," too. Yikes! It's a good thing I like peanut butter sandwiches. No steak for a while.)

:hi: :pals:

6. Are you kidding?
I'm more trouble than I'm worth, and you can bet that I'm on more Ignore lists than anyone at DU. So, that's why I think they're out to get me. This heart business is just a way of trying to soften me up, but I got news for them.

You, TahitiNut, appear to be in far more trouble than I am. Feel free to hide under my skirt any time you want. (Ahem)

It's not gonna work. I'm still grouchy.

And there will be no cessation in what I regard as my divine obligation to pursue and punish the worst in human nature.

That means I'll employ all my minions to make sure my quest is successful. They are relentless, they are without mercy, and they are constant. I shall find success and I shall rejoice.

21. Tangerine, enjoy the hearts
I love reading your thoughts, even when you don't agree with me. ;-) :woohoo:

I really need to hear more of these PA native stories. I'm a Seattle native. We can tell those who haven't lived here their whole lives right away. They're the ones outside with an umbrella. :scared:

7. Not the issue
You are thinking that the power structure is so much different behind Obama, than that of Bush, when, if you have been watching any liberal news outlets, you would know they are about the same. Amy Goodman on Democracy Now really highlights the disconnect between the MSM left, and the 'news savy' left.

This meltdown is so gigantic, and so bad, because of various policies, which have been identified. Already people on Democrat Underground are complaining about getting personally wiped out with just insurance rate hikes, from the 'stimulus' package.

The 'bailout' is for the bankers. The funniest story this month has been McCain 'complaining' about the 'stimulus' package, when the Retardican 'bailout' was just as bad, and any Retardican bailout would be just as bad, with the $$ going to cronyism.

I do not know ANY decent economist that says this will work. Its all Dem-pork, there is nothing about creating American Jobs, there is nothing about protecting American jobs, less imported labor, etc.

There is not alot to be happy about. Globalism will just reduce our standard of living to that of 'the rest of the world', which means the loss of freedom, liberty, 'liberalism',and the gaining of totalitarianism. But lets ignore all that gloomy 'reality' based news, and not hold Obama to his campaign promises.
