First, he attacks 88 year old Helen Thomas, comparing her to the Wicked Witch of the East. As chickenshit as that was, I could at least have maintained a modicum of respect for him had he not tried to spin his way out of it. He would still have been your garden variety asshole, but he would have been an asshole with the courage to stand by by his words. But noooo, it seems that Bill-o is now a satirist, and his rapier wit wass simply too keen for us to follow. He then went on to devote much of his next two shows to a lot of self-serving "political correctness gone wild" bullshit.
Couple all of that with the fact that O'Reilly is afraid to even mention the NAME Keith Olbermann, and also forbids anyone around him to do so; and you have a textbook example of a coward and a bully.
Fuck off, Bill-o, the world now sees you for the ball-less wonder that you have always been.

a segment of the US population; I hope it's a small segment.

he and others like him, represent those who think bluster and bullying are indicative of the strong, tough-guy, individualist that some Americans think of as an ideal. Even coulter with her crap is nothing more than an "I'm one of the guys" participant.

It doesn't stop with just the talking heads and spewing pie-holes in the media. Wall Street bankers, hedge fund managers, CEOs of multi-nationals, many politicians, some in government middle management, most (all?) of the management in the USPS, the military, lawyers, it's across the board. It permeates our society. They confuse bullying and abuse with strength and good management/motivational practices.

Many of us buy into it. We figure we just have to "get over it," quit being "so sensitive," that we should just "man up," "cowboy up," or some other phrase that means "take it like a man."

I think it's time we start questioning that kind of behavior; their bullying and our acceptance of it.

FYI, did you know that for the past 2 decades, the EU has implemented laws against bullying in the workplace? They discovered that it decreases productivity and increases health risks and health problems. Some version of those laws have been introduced in several states here in the US.

10. A Punk Of The Highest Order

I used to watch his show when I had fewer things to do and he is pathetic.

The way to shut him and those like him up is to report their sick rantings to the FCC and News corporation.

If his rants indicate violence or threats of violence,he should be reported to the F.B.I. and Department of Justice.Very easy to do since all can be accessed over the internet.

Not like the old days where you had to sit down write all these things down correct mistakes and then put it in the mailbox.

Not many are serious though,they want to complain and call names and leave it there which is just what those guys want people to do.

There are now people in regulatory agencies who will not only READ but RESPOND to the complaints that come in.
