1000th post- Thanks for the Hearts/Unofficial Omaha Steve Appreciation Thread

I'd originally planned to make my 1000th post an "Omaha Steve Appreciation Thread", since it was by way researching a Labor issue I happened upon an "Omaha Steve" post which led me to DU. However since it coincides with the Valentines day donation drive, I'll make it a "twofer".

I'd like to thank the anonymous DUers who were kind enough to donate & give me a "heart". These small acts of kindness go a long way toward helping me validate that I may have contributed positively in some small way to the DU community. :grouphug:

More importantly I'd like to thank Steve for his prolific and invaluable contributions to the DU community, most notably (but certainly not limited to) the Labor Forum, and say that his informative posts and comprehensive attention to all things "Labor" are GREATLY appreciated. I'm sure most DUers feel the same as I. Here's to you, Steve, and thanks again for all you do.

24. I just got home

Ballgame tonight, Friday, and Saturday night. I have to be at work at 5:30 (2 hours earlier than normal) in the morning for a training session. So I won't have much to say the next few days. I can't say how much the kind words mean to me. Thank you one and all.
