4. And, yet, apparently not right wing enough for Ann Coulter.
But is anybody ever really right wing enough for...

3. Who are the "critics"
The media keeps using the infamous "some critics" line - but won't say who they are. Why can we not join together, this one friggin' time, and demand that they name names. If it's Rush Limbaugh, they need to say so and I actually think they would. If it's coming from the RNC or some similar conservative group, then I want names. We have a right to know.

6. It'd be damn nice if we could force them to name names. But how?
Any suggestions?

7. As others have pointed out...
...take a page from Dr. Dean's book and say "We don't respond to rumors. Who exactly, is saying what exactly? Then we can respond."

Of course they still had to respond to the question in some way shape or form. Which they did, and in my opinion, did brilliantly.

But still, people like Couric need to be called on their lazy (that's a generous interpretation) style of "journalism".

I think it is time that we started using this tactic, only in response when it is used against us. For example: "Well, Katie, some people say that you should have stayed with the Today Show, that the only reason you came over to the CBS Anchor position is blind ambition. Others say that you have failed utterly. What do you say?"

9. Lazy AND biased.
Call a spade a spade. Our reluctance to do that has cost Democrats too dearly.

10. Well, I did say that "lazy" is a generous interpretation...
...but you're right, we need to hammer all of these points. This is not a time for subtlety! Grab your cudgels and take to the streets! Figuratively speaking, of course...

8. What I don't understand is why John and Eliz
went on her show in the first place. Did they not recall how exceptionally rude she had been to Kerry in the past?

11. Here's one email
He was just on Hardball saying his co-workers expressed "concern". Well yeah, after the media quoted anonymous sources planting that "concern". Start here I guess.
