Could this dog have kept us out of Iraq?

Fox "News" reports:

"....John Greaud, vice president of airport operations, told MyFOXMemphis that a K9 dog had confirmed that the bike was not an explosive, but the chaos still caused delayed flights....."

Does anyone find it odd that the dog seems to have been treated as the ultimate authority?

That it was NOT a case of the human security expert who acted to determine if the dog's suspicions were, in fact, correct...... But was, in fact, the exact opposite?




Why is it that it was only the dog that seems to have any sense?
