President Obama looks and sounds like a saint to me and I'm a non believer in anything relating to religion.

2. I voted for Obama

and while he was certainly the better presidential candidate I would have preffered a different party nominee. I always thought he was selling hope rather than substance and I always thought he was considerably more moderate than many of those here at DU. I have not been delighted with his job performance nor have I been particularly surprised.

4. It truly amazes me that the Sunday morning armchair quarterbacks

know all the answers and could do a better job. How anyone could criticize Obama for all he has done in less than a month, is beyond me...particularly, with all the roadblocks the Repugs have put in place and the threats to his well-being. Let the guy alone and let him do his job.

I get so tired of this petty bickering and criticism.

5. I didn't expect miracles and I'm willing to give him some time.

The guy JUST got into office for Crist sake and he probably has more fucked up stuff to deal with than any new president ever. All n all, I am just happy to see a President who can speak English. Am I happy with everything so far? Hell no but then I won't be happy until the whole Bush Junta has their heads publicly chopped off.

In the end though, like it or not, The corporate masters still run Amerika and Obama, like it or not, is still their servant. That's not gonna change until we throw the whole bunch on Capitol hill out and start over. They are all bought and paid for and deep down in your hearts, you know it too.
