The Impact President Obama had on my state of Arizona Today

President Obama made more appearances in Arizona in one day than our Senator Jon Kyl has made in all the years he's been in office. The guy only surfaces when he's up for re-election, and even then he just runs negative radio and TV ads.

Jon Kyl is a worthless do-nothing repuke, as usual.

President Obama did more for the morale of my state than both Senators McCain and Jon Kyl combined have done over the seven years I've lived in Arizona.

President Obama preserved and created more jobs in the past twenty four hours since he signed the stimulus bill than my lame, pathetic senators John McCain and Jon Kyl have done over the seven years that I've lived in Arizona.

Thank you, President Obama.

3. The next step

Should be getting those two out of office. I know McCain is up for re-election in 2010, at least that 's what I read, what about Kyle, when is he up again? I think Obama knows what he is doing by going to states where republican senators voted against the stimulus bill. I think even republicans who have lost their jobs are not happy with what the republicans in congress are doing to defeat anything Obama's administration comes up with to help this country. If the republicans keep this up, I think 2010 could be a real "change" in the political landscape!

I live in Tucson back in the 60's, and went through most of my teenage years there from junior high up to the my junior year in high school. I miss it every winter when the snow flies and the temps drop!

4. Glad to hear an asssessment from someone in Arizona rather than some media source

I think there are many states like Arizona with Republican senators that aren't representing the citizens of their states. They are too interested in politics and being completely uncooperative with Obama and the Democrats. While they were working to undermine Obama's stimulus package, people in their states were losing their jobs and their homes. It must be pretty hard to live in one of these states and have to suffer the consequences of partisan politics. I think that it is a good idea for Obama to visit some of these places. I think his presence helps people feel like there is someone in Washingon DC that sees their struggles and wants to explain how the stimulus bill will help them and their state.
