CA Budget Crisis: KFI talkshow hosts declare "fatwa" on 6 new assembly members

The CA budget is/was one (1) vote away from passing after months and months of fighting between Dems and Repugs in the State Senate and State Assembly. Enter Clear Channel's KFI radio (in Los Angeles) and their drive time hosts, John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou, who have been targeting ALL Republicans who dare vote for taxes at all by putting photos of their heads on sticks on their website. This "heads on a stick" campaign has been so effective at gumming up the works, that Kobylt and Chiampou have made the Sacarmento (state capital) papers. See this thread for more details:

Now, they are going further. They want CA assembly minority leader, Mike Villines, to be overthrown in the hopes that the budget deal can start from scratch with no new taxes. Mike Villines was the Republican leader who helped negotiate the current budget deal. In order to apply intense pressure on the CA GOP, John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou have declared a "fatwa"

..."John and Ken," are despicable vermin in Los Angeles radio. They've been on KFI since the very early 1990s, it has always amazed me that the "show" they do is still on the air...it is a literal "good cop - bad cop" schtick with these two shits, with Ken playing the wussy fuckhead with almost liberal tendencies, while John is a certifiable sociopath and egomaniac. He has admitted, for example, intentionally running red lights (in L.A. traffic!), and driving on the shoulder of the freeway when the rest of the traffic is too congested to move, both of which are, as any sane and rational person knows, DANGEROUS and a threat to everyone in his vicinity.

I have been a caller to their show, in their very earliest first few years. It was amusing to fuck with them on the air. Unfortunately, they became so sensationalistic, jingoistic, fascistic and otherwise generally disgusting that they became completely unlistenable/intolerable to me.

I stopped listening to anything or anybody on KFI at least six months before Bu$hler invaded Poland, I mean Iraq.

Clear Channel runs KFI and KTLK 1150 AM, the Air America affiliate in L.A.
