1. have we become a nation of scared children
that hide under the covers from the shadows on the bedroom wall?

every time i read where we have to accept less i think of all the people who sacrificed their bodies and lives to build this country into a solid middle class society where fear of the unknown was for children.

to accept less because we are told we must is not why this country was founded
