Out of curiosity. To the people who think Bin Laden is dead. Why do you think so?

My dad thinks Bin Laden is dead because of something he supposably heard a general say on TV.

I've seen poll here that showed that alot of DUers think Bin Laden is dead. I wonder what their particular reason is.

1. Going to sleep now, but there were many newspaper reports from the region

and credible people over there that said he was killed in the initial bombings of Afghanistan. It does seem kind of strange that with such a huge reward and he being so distinctive as well as very ill, that nobody has ever turned him in in all this time.

People will believe Bin Laden is alive as long as it suits their fancy. The Reich Wing gets considerable mileage out of the scare tactics they employ by invoking the image of Ben Laden

4. For Me, It's The Kidneys

My family experience is that folks don't last for all that long on dialysis. And, that's if one is NOT running around in caves hiding from the world's most powerful military.

I just have a hard time believing with a kidney disorder so severe it requires dialysis has lasted another 7 years under those conditions.
