People with Spanish citizenship, who live abroad, receive voting slips, one for each patry, by mail. You choose one party, and send its slip back in a sealed envelope, along with some other papers. Neat.

Here's some of the un-voted ones. In case you're wondering, yeah, I voted PSOE.

1. I used to vote Socialist Worker's Party in Boston

for all local offices. They might have been annoyingly Trotskyite, but they always fielded the best candidates.

5. I think one or two SWP candidates did get elected in Boston

in the 70s, but it was pretty much a protest vote and I knew it.

I confess I'm pretty ignorant of European politics. I'm barely able to keep up with them in this hemisphere, where most of the southern part has drifted (or galloped) leftward as the US has been too bogged down in Bush's wars to consider overturning their duly elected governments.
