The prediction thread - for the primaries and beyond (add some tinfoil too 'mmm k)
Well, I am sure the RW machine is in full swing now. Black guy and a woman running for president. An attorney running. A guy that looks like one of Santa's Elves (Sorry Dennis, but I have heard em say it! You have my vote though locked up).

I am betting we will see things from both sides....

So here is how I see it playing out (add your own, and bring your own tin foil too):

Hillary
1. She never planned on running until 2008. She knew Gore had earned the right in 2000, and then with bush in she saw her chance.

2. She planned her campaign long ago, and with Obama she cut a deal. She and he would get the star power and suck up all the funding, then he will bail and endorse her. She will ask Edwards to run as her VP and give Obama a big appointment.

3. 9/11 was all her and bill's fault. They planned it with the DLC to screw over bush and get him to wage the war she wanted. Long involved story....

4. She voted with bush on things to not only help get him another term (so she could run in '08) but also to increase the power the executive branch has - all so she would have more power when gets in.

5. Voting Machines. She was in on it all along and held her tongue as best she good. Bush gave her the deal - you elect me twice and they will kick the votes your way next time. by then the rw will be yelling about the machines and LW will be telling em to quit crying.

Obama
1. Wants to be president, but will defer to seniority in the prez pool. The DLC and others will tell him he has not earned it yet, but because of his draw they will work with him as noted above.

2. Will be seen a lot with Hillary and be involved in her campaign after he drops out. He will reach out to the black voters. She to the women. And Edwards to the southern vote.

Edwards
1. Bought that big ass house to look like a Kennedy. He wants to be the new JFK. The southern Kennedy's. Some will nickname him Jed Clampet from the beverly hill billies.

2. Will drop out after Obama and pretend to campaign hard against Hillary. He does want to win, but knows he strategy. It could flip flop and might - he might end up with Hillary as his VP running mate. If that is announced you will hear the words 'Vince Foster' and the phrase 'Remember what happened to JFK'.

Now I think all of the above is some serious horseshit. But I have seen enough politics in my life that I am pretty sure we will see a lot of the above in the coming year.

Add your candidate and how you predict the smears will go down (from both sides). What magic rabbit will the limpballs of the world and others pull out of their idiot asses?

Just wait - the above will seem tame compared to the firestorm a coming.

How ugly do you see it getting?

1. Here's a weird Hillary meme I've already heard:
An acquaintance claimed he'd heard that if Hillary wins the Presidency, she was planning to make Spanish the national language. Never mind that this makes absolutely no sense - he completely believes it, because it's on some web site somewhere. It's not like anyone can just fabricate anything they want on the web, you know!

2. Wow - and I thought mine were nuts :)
That one beats me all to hell. Can she even speak spanish?

We need to blog about it and see if the news media picks it up as fact

3. I guess wingers didn't watch the SOTUS or they would have known
Obama and Clinton did not even say HI to each other tho they were seated very close.
I also know that Obama told the DLC to take his name off their mailing list when they added it without his permission as he wanted nothing to do with them. If he didn't know about them before, I'm sure Durbin filled him in.

My prediction is as goes:
St. McCain and Leibermann will be in the dog house with the republicans when the predicted disaster to the surge comes true. Liebermann will move to Arizona and live in McCain's basement when Conn. kicks him out of the state.

Guillianni will become an evangelical and still not get the nomination

Due to the poor picks for 08, The Republicans cede the election before the primaries so they don't have to pick any of the crappy choices of people they hate to represent them.

If Hillary gets the nomination she will choose Liebermann to be her vp. They will have to wear name tags to tell them apart.
If Edwards does not get the nomination, he will go to the 3rd world and team up with Bono. Later they will cut an album together.
Obama will be in the starring role of a major motion picture, thereby solidifying his role as a star.
