LOL - Reporter almost breaks out laughing while interviewing Alan Keyes (R - Birther)

Alan Keyes, a three-time presidential candidate, called President Obama a "radical communist" and a "usurper" and said with him in charge, America "is going to cease to exist" at a pro-life fundraiser Thursday.

"Obama is a radical communist and I think it is becoming clear. That is what I told people in Illinois and now everybody realizes it is coming true," said Keyes who ran unsuccessfully against Obama for the Senate in 2004. "He is going to destroy this country and we are either going to stop him or the United States of America is going to cease to exist," said Keyes.

He said Obama was a "usurper occupying the office without constitutional warrant."

"He has refused to provide proof that he is in fact a natural-born citizen," Keyes said. "I'm not even sure he is president of the United States."

When the reporter interviewing him apparently cracked a smile at this, Keyes angrily responded with "that is not a laughing matter. We're going to find ourselves in the midst of chaos, confusion and civil war."

This man is trying to whip up a civil war and incite his right wing fanatics to violence.
I am sure there were some that laughed at Hitler too...but we need to take these creeps seriously.

Keyes could be dangerous -- his "we are either going to stop him or the United States of America is going to cease to exist" certainly sounded to me like the Secret Service should give him a very close look (a cavity search might not be out of line). But he's also a risible loon, and he's now proved it for an audience that otherwise might never have seen him in action.

This guy hasn't got the chops to start a mass movement. But because he's got a few kangaroos loose in the upper paddock -- and he pops off with threatening statements -- he needs to be watched.

Yep, Keyes sure told us Illinois voters what a threat President Obama was. That's why the President beat Keyes ass by over 2:1, and surely all Illinois voters are so upset at that vote that we are just dying for Keyes to come back here and stick his nose into our affairs.

Nothing gets a bigger chuckle around here as the words "Remember when Alan Keyes ran for Senator"...even the GOOPers have to laugh. Te guy's both a joke and a 8th day wonder three weeks after his expiration date.

His words are threatening and that's what we need to keep our eyes on. Is he a loose cannon or is he speaking what others are saying as well. While he doesn't have much standing in that corrupt party, he can and is part of their echo chamber.
