Representative Jay Ramras, who had previously been critical of Palin’s lack of interest in this particular issue, and had organized a large food drive issued a press release thanking all the “entities” that had been involved in getting food to the villages. Thursday he said, ““I applaud her for following in the footsteps of what Alaskans and nonprofits and churches have already been doing over the last four to six weeks,” he said Thursday.

In other words, Sarah, don't go there acting all heroic and concerned...cuz ya know those bloggers who you have said are in their parents' basements dressed in their jammies?? THEY were WAAAAYYYY ahead of you on this crisis...and you were finally shamed into doing something..if you can call a photo/video op with an evangelical in tow doing something.

and you've nailed it. Everything she does, she does after she's been shamed into it -- and then she tries to claim credit. She has several legislators pissed off at her right now for claiming ideas that they came up with first as her own. She's nothing but an opportunist and a leech.
