Can we eliminate dick?
Edited on Mon Mar-26-07 10:42 PM by BushDespiser12
Meaning the VP position. Or, how about cloning a pResident that kind of is like milk toast. Then keep him in a cryogenic state to replace idiots like we have in power right now. The vice-pResidential position has become a threat to our society.

The OVP has definitely taken on new meaning.

5. Absolutely.
He has redefined the OVP, and managed to escape even the tiniest bit of oversight.

(Plus the fact that he's a goddamn vampire. I'm opposed to vampires holding public office.)

8. You never outgrow your need for dick...
Or so says this fat old queen.

But really I don't think it would matter all that much if we eliminated the VP position from our constitutional org-chart. The crowd of criminals in there now has already demonstrated a cheerful willingness to subvert any and all institutional safeguards against their kind of chicanery. If they can't get one office to do what they want, they just invent another office and staff it with their accomplices and have them do the dirty deeds.

As it happens they've got one of their own sitting in the VP chair this time, right where Bush I sat during the reign of Ronald the Innocent. It's a similar pattern: amiable doofus as Pres (rather "detached", dontcha know...) and evil scumbucket as Vice Pres. But eliminating the VP postion is just moving around the deck chairs. The iceberg does not care.

Is what we're up against that massive and unyielding?

Wow.

For some reason, your metaphor is damned scary . . .

11. Sadly. I agree.
Ever since I read "How Washington Really Works" by Charles Peters, I have known that we were in trouble. Our government needs a complete overhaul that extends throughout all the arms of its lecherous reach. That time is either rapidly approaching, or, we are already done for. I subscribe to the former.

12. I've always thought
Cheney is actually running the show anyway, him and KKKarl.

If those two can be taken out of the equation, by impeachment or other legal means, the wheels fall all the way off and the whole country gets a really glaring look at what we've known all along. Then maybe we can rebuild it the way it's supposed to be.

But then what the hell do I know, I'm just some old hippy guitar player :P
