when I heard he was hosting, I thought it was an odd choice. But he won me over. I thought he did a really good job.

I hope he hosts again next year. The guy really worked his ass off, quite the showman.
I'd love to see him in a Broadway musical.

13. they wasted his talents. |
|
If he's such a great singer and dancer, why did they do those stupid mashups?

14. I agree that his talents were sorely wasted |
|
And I've known what a talented performer he is, he's of the kind they just don't make anymore, and I knew that when I saw him in Boy from Oz.
They really need to just fire everyone involved with this show and start over again. Starting with the writers.

18. He didn't have enough to do. |
|
I realize they were trying to speed things up a bit but the role they assigned him didn't seem terribly host-y. They didn't use him much and he ended up being a colossal waste of talent.

The entire show was more watchable than it's been since Billy Crystal was host. I thought the staging, seating and presentations were actually better.
