5. Save your $10 on The Wrestler
Or use it to see Frost/Nixon instead. Historical revisionism aside, it's a far better movie than that mediocre thinly-veiled Mickey Rourke biopic. Frank Langella would have won Best Actor in any other year.

For Mickey Rourke to come out of nowhere with a performance like that is stunning. And yes, it could be construed as a thinly-veiled biopic...but why do you think Aronofsky fought so hard to get him in the film?

Langella is a stage-actor foremost (and a brilliant one), but I'm not sure how well it translates to screen. I've seen both the play and the film, and I have to say the play is much better. I Langella could have a best actor Oscar in his future, but not from this.
