There are two systems of "justice" in this country. Each ensures that the proper results ensue from wrongdoing: retribution against the lower class and forgiveness of the upper class.

6. Didn't he make bail? And he's awaiting trial? |
|
Isn't that how this stuff usually works?
I want to know why the sons haven't yet been charged. There's no way they could have been ignorant of what Dad had been doing all those years.

15. Even if he did make bail, didn't he violate bail by funneling money for family and friends? |

20. Perhaps. Does that mean the police have to put him in jail? |
|
I don't know how these things work.

He and his wife surrendered their passports and, last I heard, he was essentially under house arrest (electronic monitoring).

and we need room for those who get caught with a small amount of marijuana. OJ Simpson taught us well. If you're rich, you can get away with First Degree Double Homocide.

17. Why isn't George Bewsh in jail? Why isn't Dick Cheney in jail? |
|
Why aren't ANY of them in jail?
Because they're all a white mafia with giant ruthless taxpayer-funded guns on their side and no one has the balls to cross them.

that's why. Now ask, why hasn't he been charged?
Because they are still trying to figure out exactly what he did.
there are still some procedures to follow in this country.

21. Because he's teasing the prosecutor's office with a deal. |
|
The deal is "Keep me out of jail and I'll tell you where I can remember where the money is."
At this point, the prosecutors want to return the money more than to penalize Madoff. And they won't get him to cooperate by putting him in jail.
