Randi Rhodes and NOVA, Problems? Anyone Have Information?

I've been listening to this Skinner chick lately, who is clearly center-rightish, and have been irritated by her a few times. I figured Randi was on vacation. But I went to her site and saw this:

Does anyone else have any more specific information about the "precipitating event" as she puts it? I really miss her, and really don't care for the new woman. IF they intended on selling her as liberal radio, they are going to fail. It's sad too, since there are so few liberal radio, and television stations on the air.

1. I don't think Nancy Skinner is center right at all!

She was a progressive-backed candidate for Congress in 2006.

Randi apparently had a contract dispute and went off the air, NovaM folded into the flames of bankruptcy, Drobny attempted suicide, and everyone is guessing in the absence of any actual facts.

3. Who is Drobney?

Though perhaps she isn't center-right, she is certainly more in the center than Rhodes?

Anyway, it isn't worth listening to her if she's just going to irritate me. I'm not the only one either, since many of the callers seem to have problems with her.

Any suggestions as to another person to fill my after 2pm central time, slot?? Anyone?

And as for Nancy Skinner being a center-right as your characterize her, I don't think Mike Malloy would agree with that and he interviewed her frequently in the recent election cycle. Not that I like her radio style (I.DO.NOT) but I don't she's a rightie.
