Breaking research finds US weapons in Gaza

Amnesty International researchers came across many US made white phosphorus artillery carrier shells, and fragments of other US produced weapons, throughout Gaza. We consider the repeated use of white phosphorus in densely-populated civilian areas a form of indiscriminate attack, and amounts to a war crime. Since 2001, the USA has been by far the major supplier of conventional arms to Israel, including government to government as well as private commercial sales. In addition to this trade, the USA has provided large funding each year for Israel to procure arms despite US legislation that restricts such aid to consistently gross human rights violators. Call for a US government investigation into Israel's potential misuse of US made weapons in Gaza.

What's a little white phosphorus between friends (or sworn enemies) when you're trying to bring about the Second Coming? Jesus would surely understand that we just did it because we wanted him to show up and mete out a little justice, heaven-style. Uh, just so there's no confusion, we're talking "justice" for everyone else; we're sort of counting on that whole "forgiveness of sins" thing. So, if that's not the case, then why don't we just let bygones be bygone, and quit looking backwards to the past?

Israel is denying the Amnesty International report. Saying it's flawed. The methodology was supposedly done in conjunction with Hamasw, they're claiming. But that isn't the case, says AI.

Weapons are our biggest export, and Israel our biggest customer, and murderous occupation is our own modus operandi. You won't find anyone in the U.S. Bipartisan Foreign Policy Establishment who has a problem with this. Israel knows it has carte blanche to brutalize an occupied and oppressed people however it chooses.
