Will our Democratic majority in Congress fight against Obama's
Supplemental "war" spending like they attempted with Bush*'s? I am hearing rumors that Obama will ask for $86 billion to keep fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Will Peloisi and Company put conditions on this as they did when Bush* asked for his "Emergency" supplemental Spending, or are those days over with?

1. Any fights the Dems had with chimpy's war funds were weak
ineffective and largely absent. The few provisions they had added were worthwhile, but there were no serious challenges to it.

Having said that, I hope they do fight against it, now.

2. I agree with you completely but that said will they show themselves to be hypocrites now?
They were against the war before they were for it.. Is that what we will hear?

3. They will say that Iraq was the wrong war at the wrong time, and
support getting out of Iraq.

They will refer the Afghanistan as the right war, all the time, forever! At any cost! They aren't against war, just the ones that the public has gotten wise to.

4. The military-industrial complex gives money to Democrats in election years too.
Lots of them line-up, as a result, behind their "dirty little wars".
Getting our government out of the war business is going to be a long,
loud, effort on our part. Yell at every politician you can (even the
ones you like). They all have to hear it from all of us that WAR HAS
TO END. NOW!
