Recouping the Stimulus

If the $787 stimulus package results in jobs, won't we recoup about 25% of the salaries from those jobs back in income taxes?

1. The stimulus bill

isn't going to create enough jobs to replace the ones that have been lost. The jobs that have been lost in big business will not return until the wealth that has disappeared has been replaced. Most of the job creation will come from new and small business. Unfortunately, the stimulus bill doesn't do much to help these folks. Lack of funding for SBA loans in the stimulus bill is a lost opportunity.
