Former ambassador says those who outed his CIA agent wife are traitors

By Tom Saul | Tuesday, March 27, 2007

IOWA CITY — Traitor is not too harsh a word to use for those who revealed the identity of his covert CIA agent wife, Valerie Plame, former U.S. ambassador Joseph Wilson said Monday.

“She was incapacitated as an operative, but there seems to be a get-out-of-jail-free card for the traitors who mismanaged classified information that led to her outing,” Wilson said during a news conference before speaking to 700 people at the student union on the University of Iowa campus about what has become known as the Plame Affair.

...

“Don’t ever give up your caucuses,” Wilson said. “What you do to force American politicians who aspire to national office is very important. They should come and be in your homes and living rooms and tell you what they think and what they plan to do.”

1. What I don't understand is why any self respecting Newspaper will print,

IMO, the #1 Traitor's articles: one each, Robert Novak?

In fact, C-SPAN's WJ used his OP-ED as their first call in question: "Is the President Alone."

WHY does Novak still have a job?!? Damn Corporate media propping up the Republicans and fully supportive of our blood thirsty meat grinder termed "The Military Industrial Complex."

Novak should have been put on trial as an traitor for his outing a covert CIA agent in the press. :grr:

Is this outrage just lost on me?

2. Me too. Novak should die in prison.
But there are apparently lots more where he came from, and they run the show.

4. IMO, not for long. The American M$M is one big joke outside of the USA.
I'm also getting the impression that more and more American Citizens are waking up to the fact that we are being lied to and distracted everyday. Not only do they shine us on with TV, but also with the M$M print media.

The USA M$M are becoming irrelevant because the Executives are in control of seemingly every damn aspect of programming. Some of them even go on talk shows each day ... they are NOT entertaining. For example, just check out that nasty Vice President type on Tucker's show? He's pathetic but in love with himself. Because he's a VP we're going to have to tolerate his corporate loving opinion every damn day. :puke:

Never forget: The M$M now works for the Military Industrial Complex NOT the American People.

Our political leaders assume that we are stupid ... but they will find out otherwise come 2008, i.e., massive Democratic Victory in both the House and Senate. IMO, overall, the 2008 election will be a very good one. :-)

8. You are not alone. I, too, am outraged. Here's my rant on it:

And I have another thought on it. It's like being forced to listen to a pious sermon about morality by a priest or minister who has molested you. You're a kid. You have no power. You are obliged, under pain of punishment, to be polite and and to behave appropriately in church. And there you sit, being lectured on "sinful" sexual thoughts and acts, by the man who feels you up or pushes your face against his genitals, in the rectory, or behind the altar, or in the ministry office, or at the gym.

It's obscene. WaPo's publication of Novak's unctuous, self-serving, hypocritical tripe is obscene! But, even worse than this, it is an assertion of power. THEY have all the money and arrogant power to shove this lying crap at us, to give it legitimacy, and to force THAT to be the focus of the discussion of this act of treason. They are shoving the views of a traitor down our throats! We can't ignore it. They control political discussion in Washington--OUR capitol. We have no say in giving this traitor a forum. They couldn't care less what we think about it. We are powerless--no matter how wrong, no matter how deceitful, it is. They rule. Obscene powermongering. That's what it is. That's what the Washington Post is all about.

5. But they retroactively changed her status
So it's alright. And what damage could possibly have been done to our overseas networks?

I'm sure citizens of many countries are lining up to work for the CIA under this administration, especially since we've done so much for those Iraqis that worked with us during the transition to peace in their home country.
