Captain Sullenberger Goes To Congress .........
.... and lays out a tale of woe so painfully typical of the way in which big bidniss fucks its employees.

His own salary has been cut 40% and his pension just vanished.

He had more to say and this wasn't his main point, but I find it to be an incredible symbol of where we are today. Good people doing their best work in SPITE of the ruling class.

Thanks Captain Sully!

5. He did, indeed. And he warned that our flight decks will soon be populated by far less .....
.... experienced people than he those of his background.

He was fresh out of sugar coating.

Go Capt. Sully!

4. I wondered what he was up to
I didn't think it fit his character to do so many publicity shoots, etc.

So today he speaks up for labor.

Hero to the core.

7. I'd love to have him become the face of the Union Man - continuing to work
his ass off even when his wages are slashed and his pension destroyed.

8. Yeah
He's the perfect guy for that role ..... kinda like the cops and firemen after 9/11. But he is a single, iconic person who everyone in the country knows and admires.

As an airline employee I can tell you he absolutely speaks the truth. Like a pilot friend once told me, "If you're an airline pilot, even if you're the Captain you're not the boss."
