I'm getting paranoid.

I need to do a paper for my legal writing class analyzing whether a launching a human being on a bungee cord toward a crowd could be considered as using a weapon in a felony case. I started doing google searches just to get started and kept coming up with all this suicide bombing and terroism stuff. I started getting creeped out by it and actually included in one of my search parameters a message to Agent Mike that I was doing research for a paper.

What a screwed up nation this has become. *sigh*

1. I know the feeling

I kept hearing about the British troops held captive and the dispute over whether they were in Iranian or Iraqi waters and I didn't think much if any of Iraq was coastal so I googled map of Iraq when I probably just should have looked in my atlas. I got really creeped out by some of the links on the map site. Yikes.

2. Actually the topic "launching a human being on a bungee cord toward a crowd"

...is a pretty good clue as to just how screwed up this country has become. Thirty years ago that would not likely have been an issue. Keep digging, the human mind has always had an infinite capacity when it came to finding creative ways to develop lethal weapons.
