Ingraham and Malkin are trying to sound positive about the state of Conservatism but they look defeated. I think they realize their time in the national spotlight is over and they will be reduced to the looney fringe from now on.

How fringe can you get? She only has an audience because there is a (thankfully dwindlig) market in mediahacks going over the top to attack liberals and democrats. She went over the top nearly as nuttily as Coulter who noone except fringies take seriously. I will enjoy the increasing public marginalization of these voices over the coming years.
