I don't see why Dems in Congress don't openly refer to it as Bush's mess.

This whole catastrophe is the work of Bush and Cheney and their minions and we all know it but the general public thinks it the work of "politicians" or "the government". And because the Dems now have the power that means the Dems are at fault in the eyes of the uninformed. RW Hatemonger radio keeps driving home to their sheepies how it is all our fault too. Every time they stand in front of a microphone our Congress people should stress that we are in this mess because of the criminal ineptitude of the Bush administration. They should also point out as often as the opportunity presents itself how the rethuglicans in Congress are working against the best interests of the country by playing partisan politics. Without anyone holding their feet to the fire they are getting away with not taking the blame for their complicity in ruining our economy and countless lives along with it.

It's their fault dammit and they should be held accountable.
