I just did. I made the mistake of tuning in to insaHanity on my way back from the store.

I've been paying attention to these fuck-heads for quite a while but, boy oh boy, have they stepped up the bullshit.

The guy has really gone off the deep end. Like Jon Stewart says:

"I owe Colmes an apology. I thought that guy wasn't doing anything. Apparently he was the sandbag holding down the hot air crazy balloon."

In one half mile I heard:

Obama got a mortgage loan from *GASP* Northern Trust. The people who received *GASP* TARP money and then *GASP* threw a party - Yeah, him and tens of thousands of other Chicago area home buyers. It's a big fucking bank.

He got a loan @ 5.625% for a thirty year mortgage which *GASP* was below average - Hey dummy, AVERAGE means some were lower and some where higher. Northern Trust has great rates on jumbo loans as they portfolio and don't differentiate much between jumbo and conforming. You have to have REALLY good credit and at least 20% down......so, yeah, they would have been below average.

He, *GASP* got a "super jumbo loan." - I think he financed around 700k....big deal.

He *GASP* didn't pay any points or origination fees - Hey idiot, almost nobody pays points or origination fees in Chicago. We're a very competitive market. In ten years in the business, I can't remember EVER charging points or origination. Some lenders charge it on very small loans or FHA loans but NO ONE pays points on a jumbo.

He *GASP* substantially increased his income after he joined the Senate - You forgot to mention his book that the "free market of ideas" saw fit to pay him for his work.

I know, I know I shouldn't listen and/or get upset but, really, what I just heard on public airwaves was unmitigated bullshit that will go unchecked on WLS in Chicago - a huge station in the area.

If that's not a poster child example for the fairness doctrine I don't know what is. Between him, Rush and the douche-bag in the morning...Don and Roma?? They spew this shit 9 hours a day Monday through Friday. Plus whatever wing-nut kook they currently have working the night shift and weekends.

3. The Sheryl Crow party people????
That's the real problem with that company, not Obama's loan:

Northern Trust defends spending on PGA event, parties
Rep. Barney Frank said he's going to ask for the money back.

Northern Trust Corp., which in November received about $1.5 billion as part of the U.S. Treasury Department's Troubled Asset Relief Program, defended Tuesday its wining and dining of clients during the recent Northern Trust Open in California.

Entertainment Web site TMZ.com on Tuesday reported that Northern flew hundreds of clients and workers to California and put some of them up at ritzy hotels, including the Ritz Carlton in the Los Angeles area, and entertained them with such groups as Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire and Sheryl Crow.

House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank, along with 17 Democrats on the committee, sent a letter today to Northern Trust's CEO asking that the bank repay what it spent on the entertainment during the golf tournament.

"This behavior demonstrates extraordinary levels of irresponsibility and arrogance," the letter said. "We insist that you immediately return to the federal government the equivalent of what Northern Trust frittered away on these lavish events."
