To: Onerom99 His presentation is like he’s reading a book to a group of 3rd graders.
I guess this is the first time I have heard Jindal speak and he is not that good. I am disappointed. He does not have nearly the speaking skills of Obama. 80 posted on February 24, 2009 9:30:45 PM CST by TNCMAXQ
I like Bobby, but he looks stiff and sounds nervous. 81 posted on February 24, 2009 9:30:45 PM CST by trumandogz (The Democrats are driving us to Socialism at I00 MPH -The GOP is driving us to Socialism at 97.5 MPH)
It sounds like everyone on this thread says Jindal is terrible. 88 posted on February 24, 2009 9:31:02 PM CST by St. Louis Conservative
I mean, hell, he’s doing ok. He just sounds a little like Ward Cleaver. The content is decent. Conservative, but non-confrontational. He wasn’t going to give a fire and brimstone speech people. 101 posted on 02/24/2009 7:32:22 PM PST by St. Louis Conservative
He has a sing-song cadence, like he is talking to a group of 4th graders. 112 posted on 02/24/2009 7:33:20 PM PST by Plutarch
It's like Mr. Jindal’s Neighborhood...I'm waiting for him to go hang up his cardigan. Terrible speech, horrible delivery, crappy audio. If this is our rising star we're in trouble. 114 posted on 02/24/2009 7:33:29 PM PST by Miss Didi ( "After all...tomorrow is another day." Scarlett O'Hara, Gone with the Wind)
Is this a rebuttal or a campaign speech? I’m not impressed with his delivery and he’s rambling. 123 posted on 02/24/2009 7:33:58 PM PST by DaGman
First time I've heard him speak, like a cold mashed potato sandwich, without salt 126 posted on February 24, 2009 9:34:19 PM CST by MilspecRob (Most people don't act stupid, they really are.)
I agree. He sounds like he should have a claymation pony as a sidekick. 129 posted on February 24, 2009 9:34:33 PM CST by SAR
Gov Jindal’s appeal is that he looks honest. 134 posted on February 24, 2009 9:34:52 PM CST by model B (attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference -- Sir Winston Churchill)
I think Jindal is terrible tonight. Of course these ‘responses’ whoever gives them are ridiculous, but Jindal just does not have presence tonight. He looks too young, he sounds squeaky and un-serious. His ideas are right, but it's all about theater these days. 146 posted on February 24, 2009 9:36:29 PM CST by americanophile
we’re doomed! This guy might be a great thinker, but this speach sucks 150 posted on February 24, 2009 9:36:47 PM CST by tonyinv (I Want Obama To Fail ..there I said it...now say it with me.)
