Poll question: How many GOP Heavyweights turned down the opportunity to respond to the BIG O????
Was BOBBY their initial "Go to Guy?"

Or was it more than one? Like:: "Are you KIDDING ME??? You want me to do the Response thing....after Obama? Please....I am in the middle of a project"

1. I'm guessing Palin volunteered...
but it was shot down faster than a wolf by a high-powered rifle in the hands of a crazy fucking podunk hanging out of a helicopter flying over Alaskan airspace.

3. I dunno. The Republican bullpen is obviously pretty shallow these days.
Who else could they have asked who has any credibility at all?

4. No one in his/her right mind would want to follow Obama right now
Obama's political capital is Golden.

(I feel kinda sorry for Jindal actually.)

5. What an intriguing question
Maybe Jindal drew the short straw.

Personally, I think his head grew three sizes at the governor's press op yesterday. The man is less than dynamic, that's for sure. Still, he's buying into the mythology his party is manufacturing for him.

Ultimately, if I were a fresh-faced repub, I wouldn't want to rebut President Barack Obama my first time out of the gate.

That opened the way for the secondaries to shine.....
