they're screwn. It sure looks like he's supposed to be the smart, fresh face of the Republican party, but he came off as a nervous, clueless little weasel last night. I'd say it's looking more and more like Palin/Whoever in 2012!

Neither is capable of bein' elected to the Presidency. They're idiots, also. They've been pallin' around with GOOPer idiots, and it's rubbin' off on 'em, also.

2. Jindal's performance was somewhat embarrasing for them |
|
Rush has been pushing Jindal for a few years now as the next star of the party; not sure how that is going to work out. That said, one bad night won't turn the GOP off of him forever.

3. I think Jindal was assigned the role of Sacrificial Lamb |

His speech was intentionally forgettable.

4. I'm disappointed in him... |
|
young, seemingly bright guy throwing his career away in an attempt to position himself by pandering to the rightwingnuts.
Put a fork in him... he's done.

Their bench is thinner than thin. It's cause there hasn't been a new thing about the GOOP party in over 30 years. It's the same old claptrap "ideology" that has been proven to be both a fraud and destructive to the country. The party ignored a generation of voters as well as demonizing any minority that wasn't christian and white. When you alienate more than you attract...we get politicians like Bobby or Mooselini or Eric Cantor.
This party is still in denial...they keep veering further right and off the political abyss as the factions within that inept party fight with each other. Call it a race to the bottom and into further irrelevance. But who am I to compain? I've longed for this day for years...so why stop now?
