What a joy it was to listen to a President that can string two sentences together!

It struck me so deeply last night as I was listening to the President, that it has been a long time since we've had someone with brains running this country. It also brought home the fact as to how "empty" the republican thought tank is. Bobby Jindal? You've got to be kidding me..what a joke that opposing speech was. It's so evident that all the gop has left for it is obstructionism. Way to go Obama...what a great speech and what hope we have finally after 8 dark long years....K & R if you've felt inspired last night!!!!

1. As I sat watching the speech, I could not help but think of the

former President and how dumb **** was.. There is just no way to compare the literate, concise, articulate approach to this important speech to whatever that former guy was babbling about.

When it was over, I actually felt we had someone at the helm who knows what it is about, who is actually working and, with the biggest job on earth facing him, is taking the charge given him and trying to put together solutions. I do not envy him the job.

As for the rebuttal, well, I had a good book and it was getting late so.......
