Something that made me go "Hmmm" re: Dr. Dean showing up twice on MSNBC yesterday
First, he was on with Tweety talking about President Obama's health care reform.

Then, later, he was back on with either Keith or Rachel (sorry, my recollection is a little foggy).

He really hasn't been around on the TV at all since the election. And then yesterday, it was like he was the featured guest on all subjects.

So, I thought, "Hmmm, maybe he's trying to lobby a bit for the HSS position, which may have been spurred by Tweety's shout out at the end of the interview.

BUT....then, this morning, I got to thinking about something else, maybe....just maybe, MSNBC is looking at Dr. Dean as the host for the 10 p.m. hour?

What do you think, #1) of my theory and #20 the idea of Dr. Dean hosting his own show on MSNBC?

1. Interesting Spec on the MSNBC Thing
I'd watch, particularly if this was serious round table discussion of the issues such as energy, healthcare, education, etc. with a healthy dose of humor and snark thrown in. I think we're missing that kind of show these days and Dr. Dean would be great at that.

OTOH - I do wonder when the HHS announcement is going to be made.

2. Thanks, I thought it was interesting, too. I guess you have to have Jindal in one's title post
today to get any comments.

Dr. Dean would be just FINE with me at either of these posts.

We shall see. It was good to see him back on the TV yesterday!

3. I hope there is something going on like this. I would love him as HSS and I would love him on MSNBC
I saw the two appearances you mentioned and he was so good!

4. I hope so, I was originally rooting
for Cenk Uyger, but his cheerleaders on this site make it so transparent that he's mounting a campaign to get his show on cable it's irritating. I'd take Dr. Dean any day.
