Women don’t really like Rush Limbaugh. On Feb. 23, Public Policy Polling released findings showing that only 37 percent of women hold a favorable opinion of the hate radio host, compared to 56 percent of men.

As Jill Zimon notes, Limbaugh brought up this poll yesterday on his radio show, noting that it was one of the largest gender gaps Public Policy Polling has seen on any issue it has polled in the past year. His solution? To convene a summit of women to find out why they dislike him

Let's face it: I'm weird. I think John Goodman is nice looking, for instance. Plus, he's funny as hell, which helps. While I will admit enjoying looking at Hugh Jackman, my favorite actors are Dennis Farina and Paul Giamatti. Not drop-dead handsome, but wow, would they be fun to talk with!

It's not even Rush Limbaugh's looks or girth that's the big turnoff for me. It's his ideas. It's his opinions. It's the fact that he has so little respect for women. If he was a kind person, or thought about something or someone else besides himself or what he's told to pimp by the RNC blastfax he probably gets daily, it might be interesting to talk with him. For the most part, though, right-wing media personalities have shown repeatedly that there is nothing else for them but hate, hate, hate. Their view of the world is nonexistent.
