Jindal draws flak from GOP, Dems over speech

NEW YORK - Insane. Childish. Disaster. And those were some of the kinder comments from political pundits about Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and his response to President Barack Obama's speech to Congress on Tuesday night.

Jindal, 37, a Rhodes scholar and son of Indian immigrants, is considered a rising star in Republican ranks and a likely 2012 presidential candidate.

GOP leaders, looking for a fresh face for the party's image, tapped Jindal earlier this month for the high-profile task of rebutting Obama's first address to a joint session of Congress.

But in both style and substance, Jindal's speech has drawn flak from Republicans and Democrats alike.

Most of the hard-core tongue-speakin', apocalypse-believin', commie-fearin', right-wing Freetards would see insane and childish as virtues.

If anything, they probably wanted Jindal to question Obama's birth certificate, his 'links' to terrorists, and hysterically scream about the imminent threat from Obama and the Democrat party to completely abolish private property and Christianity.

If he'd done that, his marks from Republican party faithful would have been WAY higher.

A desparate party, out of touch, stridantly dogmatic and idealogical, and increasingly isolated, takes a new face, green, untested, unready and thrusts it before the American People as a new savior, a new celebrity.

Exposed, Jindahl, like Palin, imploded and burst into flames. Just as a vampire exposed to the light of day.
