I have this disturbing recurrent thought about investigations into Bushco--

What if we do them, uncover all the things we know to be there--lies to get us into the war, torture, a politicized DOJ, stolen elections, massive illegal spying on citizens...

What if we uncover all of that in convincing and shocking detail

...and nobody gives a shit.

The press glosses it over. The public yawns. The Rushpublicans portray themselves as patriotic victims of a shameless witch hunt.

It's pretty damn tyrannical when "we" get throw in jail for YEARS over stealing $20 and these guys commit Nazi caliber war crimes and get away with it.

Or else this is no longer America and we can tell the Founding Fathers their experiment in self government was a failure. It did have a nice 234 year run, though!
