won't go up? Everytime I see these people questioning so stridently, that's what comes to mind for me.

1. Heh, thought the same thing as I watched a little "roundtable" discussion.
Every one of you fuckers is no doubt way above the $250k limit. For those of us below that who've been massively shafted the last decade, while you sit there paying LESS of a percentage of your income, overall, in taxes... well let's just say I won't be crying many tears for them.

2. I made the same point to my wife today.
This issue of taxes will not get a fair analysis on the tube. Every talking head is in the income bracket that will see their taxes increase. They have a vested interest in maintaining Bush's tax cuts. They'll ignore it or find some fault with the whole concept. I recall when Obama was running on his plan to cut taxes on the middle-class, there was no attempt to correct the Republicans who mischaracterized/misrepresented the facts of the plan.

3. The TV reporters. If there is a print journalist in that room (save the RW Politico) making more
than a quarter of a million dollars a year, I would be VERY, VERY surprised. They just don't make that kind of bank. Not after decades of experience and not in that prime position. Maybe the kiddies from TIME and NEWSWEEK might, but I still highly doubt it.

I'm sure Ed Henry, Chuck Todd, Jake Tapper and Co., though, all make AT LEAST that much and probably more.
